Donate to CMIFF

It all started when a group of Central Michigan University students in the School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts decided to bring independent cinema to campus.

From there, the idea grew, and the Central Michigan International Film Festival was born. Through the hard work and dedication of CMU students and faculty, CMIFF has become a much-anticipated annual event. Every February, CMIFF brings a diverse slate of independent and international cinema to both CMU’s campus and the local community of Mt. Pleasant.

Supported solely through sponsorships, grants and donations, the Central Michigan International Film Festival has grown over the years. We now offer screenings over five days at multiple venues, both on-Central Michigan University’s campus, and off. Our venue partners include Celebration Cinema, the historic Broadway Theater downtown Mt. Pleasant, and Art Reach, adding to our screening rooms at Park Library and in Moore Hall at CMU.
